About the Artist

Welcome to Dreamday Jewelry Designs. My name is Loretta Westbrook and I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. I design and create unique, affordable, custom jewelry.  I am a Wyoming native from Jackson Hole, and the great outdoors has always been a huge part of my life…as my work reflects. Much of my inspiration comes from the mountains and the desert that I love so much.

My jewelry is eclectic, random and bold. I love “the unexpected”… many of my best pieces were the result of a planned design taking an unanticipated turn. My jewelry designs are an integration of free form shape, asymmetry and contrast, as well as unusual and interesting combinations of materials and jewelry making techniques. Silver and mixed metal fabrication includes soldering, bezel setting, fusing, kiln firing, riveting and a wide variety of cold connections...combined with the most amazing beads, pearls and semi-precious stones.

I do not believe in taking shortcuts where my work is concerned.  Materials used are of the finest quality, and standards of workmanship are of the highest level.

When not in my studio, I like to play my guitar and banjo, and ride my Harley through the Nevada desert.
